Electrolyte Powder

Never buy Pedialyte, Powerade, or Gatorade for your animals again! After you open these products, they go bad very quickly. With this powdered formula you can make as much or as little as you want and never have to throw the rest away. This powdered formula is safe for many species. Use in times of stress, dehydration, or in conjunction with medications that indicate you need to keep the animal well hydrated (like Albon).

This half pound bag will make approx one gallon of electrolyte solution.

Mixing Directions: Mix 1 tsp of Electrolyte Powder with 1/8 cup (2 TBSP) warm water. When mixed correctly the solution should be a light blue color. To add a little flavor to this, try adding a splash of apple, grape or other fruit juice (all natural, no added flavors). Discard any unused solution after 24 hours.

Recommended Dosage for Reptiles: Give .5 - 1 cc for every 100 grams of body weight up to 3 times a day.

Recommended Dosage for All Other Animals: Give 1 tsp for every 2 lbs of body weight up to 3 times a day. This can be given to cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, sheep, swine, fouls, calves, goats, chicken, llama, etc.

Ingredients: Dextrose (50%), Sea Salt (10%), Sodium Bicarbonate (5%), Potassium (0.8%).

Storage: Store the dry powder in a tightly closed container or bag in a cool, dry place. Store mixed solution in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
