Acidophiliz+ by Pet Authority

Acidophiliz+ is a great way to reintroduce good bacteria into your reptile's system. After a round of antibiotics or parasite medications, the good bacteria has most likely been wiped out or at a very low level. This is when opportunistic bacteria and fungi can take hold, which can result in Yellow Fungus Disease or bacterial infections. Acidophiliz can also help with diarrhea and digestion problems.

Acidophiliz+ contains millions of live microorganisms (probiotics) that are commonly found in yogurt and other probiotic supplements. Since some animals have adverse reactions to dairy, we advise giving this supplement instead of yogurt.

This 2 oz bottle contains enough Acidophiliz to dose several bearded dragons for 2 - 3 months.

Average dose: Give 0.1 - 0.2cc for every 100 grams of body weight. Can give daily as a supplement to help boost energy and appetite levels, or can give as often as needed.

Dose for sick or recovering reptiles (or sugar gliders): Give 0.2 - 0.4cc for every 100 grams of body weight, 1 - 2 times a day for up to 2 weeks, as needed.

Note: We recently switched from a glass bottle with a glass dropper to a plastic bottle and cap (no dropper). We found that someone actually used the glass dropper to feed directly to their reptile! This resulted in an injured reptile. We aim to prevent these kind of injuries, so we are no longer offering the glass droppers. Instead, you will receive a plastic bottle that is capped, and a 1cc syringe (no needle) for dosing the Acidophiliz+.
